Duties
- -구직자로부터 구직 등록을 받은 후, 등록된 구인업체 중에서 해당 구직자에게 가장 적합한 일자리를 선별하여 알선해 준다.
- -노동시장에서 발생되는 직업과 관련된 일반상담과 구인구직상담, 창업상담, 경력개발상담, 직업적응상담, 직업전환상담, 은퇴 후 상담 등 각종 상담업무를 수행한다.
- -구직자를 위한 각종 심리검사를 실시하며 취업 및 직업선택, 직업훈련, 고용보험에 관련된 상담을 한다.
- -지방노동관서의 고용안정센터의 경우 고령자고용장려금, 육아휴직장려금 등의 고용안정사업과 실업급여지급, 고용보험관리 등의 업무를 수행한다.
- -청소년, 여성, 중고령자, 실업자 등을 위한 직업지도 프로그램 개발과 운영을 하기도 한다.
- -취약계층(장애자, 고령자)에게 보다 많은 취업기회를 제공하고 구인난을 겪고 있는 기업에게 다양한 인력을 소개하기 위하여 구인처 및 구직자를 개척하기도 한다.
- -채용 박람회 및 취업 박람회를 개최하여 교육훈련이나 자격에 대한 안내를 하기도 하며, 직업정보 제공처 및 직업관련 지역기관과의 업무협의를 통하여 관련정보를 교환하고 수집된 정보를 분석한다.
- -고급인력알선업체(해드헌팅업체)에서는 보통 중견 간부급이상과 전문경영인, 고급 기술자 등 고급인력을 대상으로 하며, 공개적인 모집보다는 비밀리에 대상인력 선정에서부터 평가 및 알선까지 조사를 거쳐 이루어진다.
